What was the very first record you bought?

Kiss – Alive, I guess it was around 1976

What is the most expensive record have you bought?

Well I collect vinyls, expensive hobby I don’t know, I don’t know… But one I paid a lot for: Screaming Lord Sutch and the Savages. Hard to find the old rarities from the 60’s. But that one I found on eBay after years of searching from a seller in Japan (!)

What are your 5 very favourite bands ever?

Oh, hard…In no particular order: Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Johnny Cash (not a band but…), Kiss and David Bowie (again no band..,)

Name 5 bands that have changed your life?

Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Depeche Mode, Sex Pistols and Sisters of Mercy

Name your 3 favourite Gothic Fests?

When I was in Arcana we played in many countries and saw A LOT of cool bands on a lot of cool venues/festivals. Many things may be said about Goths, but when it comes to arrange concerts/festivals/etc there are a lot enthusiasts putting down their whole souls to it. Amazing and admirable!

Name your 3 favourite gigs as a musician and as fan?

I saw G.W.A.R, around – 93, they really knows how to entertain
Depeche Mode – 86, Black Celebration tour, magic
Meat Beat Manifesto, sometime in the early 90s
And I must say that the concert with Lykke Li last year was amazing, even if that will make 4 concerts.

Name the most 3 influential albums for you as an artist

If we’re talking about my writing for Brotherhood I’ll guess it would be:
Sisters of Mercy – First, last and always
Joy Division – Unknown Pleasures
Depeche Mode – Black Celebration

If we’re talking about some records that meant a lot for all of my bands/projects/life I’d say:
Sex Pistols – Never Mind The Bollocks
Kraftwerk – Computerworld
Scraping Foetus of the Wheel – Nail
Slayer – Reign in Blood
And of course the ones I said before regarding Brotherhood

Describe yourself with 3 adjectives

AuDioHD, Fun, thinker

What is the most overrated gothic band?

I’m sorry, and afraid, to say that very many bands and artists take them self much too seriously that they become more of a poser band and no “feeling” for music. Come down to earth and get a grip! Learn to play and behave! But I will not name drop any names or even hint one. That would be wrong, and cruel! Everyone has their right to like whatever, but… as I said: Don’t be too pretentious. It will bite your ass in the end.

What is the most underrated gothic band?

Oh, I really don’t know. Sorry… But I think all bands that’s putting their chins out and not just copies other bands should have a round of applauds for wanting the Goth Music to develop

In which band would you have liked to play live?

Name 3 new gothic bands that have caught your attention lately?

Well, now I’m the one sounding pretensions I’ll guess, but truth is, I don’t listen to any new goth music… I’m more into the “traditional” stuff. But I think Japan Suicide and The Foreign Resort I think are good bands.

Gothic Rock or Post Punk and why?

Well, I wanna say both, but I put Post Punk first. Simply because I like more bands in the genre.
