If you mean a vinyl LP, I guess it was “Blackstar” by Bowie on the day he died.
What are your 5 very favorite bands ever?
Joy Division, Smiths, Bauhaus, Velvet Underground, Beach Boys – the latter two ranks change pretty often – and are overshadowed by solo artists like Elvis; Bowie, Scott Walker, Kate Bush.
Name 5 bands that have changed your life?
Even I am not old enough to have changed my life 5 times, but I think The Smiths and Joy Division changed it nearly simultaneously into a direction, that roughly remained the same from then on.
Name your 3 favorite Gothic Fests?
I have not been to many, because I tend to avoid masses of people, nevertheless, I have been at the WGT Leipzig twice and I really liked the relaxed and open atmosphere.
Name your 3 favorite gigs as a musician and as fan?
Hard to say,- as a musician playing in the Royal Albert Hall in London (although in a slightly different context), as a fan The Cure in Hamburg 1987 and The Swans last year in Dortmund.

Velvet Underground. Or The Cramps. Or the Portsmouth Sinfonia (google it!)
Name 3 new gothic bands that have caught your attention lately?
I can only name 3 that are probably not Gothic but have a certain gothic vibe to them, and that would be Anna von Hausswolff, Let’s Eat Grandma and Scott Walker with Sunn O))) – not really new, I know.
Gothic Rock or Post Punk and why?
I don’t like any sort of pigeonholing, call it what you like, if the music is interesting. I like the Gothic scene, although I’d probably prefer something like Post Punk as a label for our music, as it seems a little more vague.
