Musta Paraati played a secret gig as Pioneerit

Musta-ParaatiMusta Paraati played a secret gig on Saturday 16.5.2015 in Helsinki. They used a pseudonym Pioneerit (“Pioneers”). The band played old classics from “Peilitalossa” LP and two brand new and unreleased tracks. This gig took a place at Nosturi and was done as “reheasals” to the forthcoming summer tour. The original bass player Panda Nikander has joined the group which means line up consist four original member and a new singer.

“The most famous Finnish goth/post-punk band MUSTA PARAATI has been reformed. They announced the news at their FB-sites at the end of January 2015. They were active during 1982 to 1985 and released two albums. Many people consider their first “Peilitalossa” album to be the best Finnish goth album of all time. The reformed line up is same as on “Peilitalossa” LP, but with a new singer. The new singer is Herra Ylppö. Their original singer Jore Vastelin died in 1993. Reformed Musta Paraati will play their first show as a headliner on an annual Finnish open air festival Provinssirock on 27.6.2015. They are also going to record a third album with the new line up.”
