My 5 favorite bands are Bauhaus, David Bowie, Dead Can Dance, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Faith and The Muse.
Name 5 bands that have changed your life?
I can say that my favorite bands have changed my life and I’d just like to add Rosa Crux.
Name your 3 favorite Gothic Fests?
I haven’t attended many festivals but I have great memories of Sinner’s Day Festivals 2010 and 2011 and Shadowplay 2011 in Belgium.
Name your 3 favorite gigs as a musician and as fan?
As a fan : PIL in Edinburgh (1987), Siouxsie and the Banshees in London (1988) and Bauhaus Resurrection Tour in Gent (1998).
Name the most 3 influential albums for you as an artist
David Bowie “Scary Monsters and Super Creeps” is the album I mostly listened to and it includes great tracks maybe with a more commercial approach and therefore more accessible. I particularly love these synthetic string sounds.
The Cure “Pornography” : I’ve been listening to this album for years … I can’t get enough of it !!
Dead Can Dance “Dead Can Dance” : Their first album is a perfect blend of dark new wave, goth and world music.

What is the most overrated gothic band?
I don’t really have an opinion about it … and above all, I don’t feel like making enemies ;-).
What is the most underrated gothic band?
I’ve always liked Corpus Delicti … I think they are the most representative of the French Goth scene and they’d have deserved more recognition.
In which band would you have liked to play live?
Bauhaus of course !! I’d have loved to be in London in the early 80’s and play with them in legendary venues such as The Marquee, 101 Club or Electric Ballroom … But they managed well without me ;-).
Name 3 new gothic bands that have caught your attention lately?
NU:N – The Hearse – Der Himmel über Berlin – Not only we’ve become friends but I really think they’re talented and deserve more attention.
Gothic Rock or Post Punk and why?
Post punk emerged in the late 70’s and Gothic rock is closely related to that musical genre. Post punk influences come from Bowie as much as PIL, Wire or Joy Division. I love both …. Actually it depends a lot on how I feel :-).
